ANOTHER plan to build up to 150 homes in a village near Worcester has been put forward.
The application by Hallam Land Management would see the new homes built off the A38 on the southern edge of Kempsey near Worcester.
Land would also be set aside to build a new primary school in the village.
A statement included with the application said: “Development at land East of the A38 in Kempsey is an opportunity to create a high-quality, sustainable extension to the village, which provides new homes and a site for a new one form entry primary school for the benefit of both new residents and the wider village.

“Modern standards of design will deliver energy-efficient new homes set within a network of green streets and within good proximity to local services and infrastructure.
“Proposals will also seek to integrate and enhance existing environmental assets, creating a verdant and spacious development setting to the benefit of both new and existing residents.”
Last month, a plan to build up to 57 homes on fields off Brookend Lane in Kempsey was put forward by developer Richborough Estates.
Another application to build 30 new homes on fields off Post Office Lane in Kempsey was put forward by housebuilder Lantar Developments in May.
If approved, the homes would sit next to the recently completed 75-home Sallowbed Way plan in the village.

Housing association Bromford has also revealed plans to build 48 affordable homes off Broomhall Lane between Worcester and Kempsey which would sit next to a proposed plan to build 70 homes by Platform Housing.
It is one of several plans to build homes to the south of Worcester that are still to be decided which includes a plan to build 79 homes on the former Aston Coaches depot off Bath Road.
If given the green light, the development would also sit near an already approved 92-home plan on the former Ketch car boot site on the edge of Worcester.
You can have your say on the plan by visiting Malvern Hills District Council’s website. The application number is M/22/01093/OUT and consultation ends on September 23.
