ANYONE looking to treat their mothers to a day out on Sunday could start by taking a walk around Croome Park, near Pershore.
Staff at the landscaped park, designed by Lancelot Capability' Brown, have arranged a Mother's Day restoration walk which will point out what has been achieved this winter and plans for the future. The walk, which is about three miles long, takes in the restoration of the park seat and installation of iron railings and will be led by property manager Michael Smith.
Mums who take part will receive a free plant as a Mothering Sunday gift.
Mr Smith said: "Sunday's guided walk is a great opportunity to find out not only how we care for and maintain the park all year round but also about our plans for further restoration."
The walk starts at 1pm and costs £7 for adults and £4 for children.
