CAREERS advice and guidance for people of all ages and abilities will be available at a fair in Worcester next month.
The Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair aims to attract thousands of people seeking a new job or want help changing their career.
The event at Worcester Guildhall will be held on Thursday, March 6, between 10am and 4.30pm.
It has attracted exhibitors ranging from recruitment agencies, colleges, universities and businesses who are big employers in Worcester.
John Ryan, University of Worcester registrar, said: "The Jobs and Careers Fair is an excellent way to find out about your future study options and see the range of courses, flexible study options and strong vocational links we can offer at the University of Worcester.
"We've expanded our courses into a range of new areas, including forensic science, marketing, pre-hospital and emergency care (paramedic training), journalism, social work and advertising. We also offer far more business, health and education courses specifically aimed at professionals who want to combine work with higher education study." Also at the fair will be the Thera Trust, which works within Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, but is based in Tewkesbury.
Adey Hewitt from the group said: "We are a well established provider of person-centered support for adults with learning disabilities. We are attending the fair with hopes that we will attract future employees that share our vision."
Cheryl Jones, head of volume recruitment for Littlewoods Shop Direct said: "Due to growth in our organisation we are offering a range of customer service based roles. We offer exciting opportunities for people who are looking to work in a warm and welcoming environment."
