WOMEN visiting a community centre in Worcester enjoyed a pampering session this week.
Newly qualified students from a manicure and pedicure nail art course run at the YMCA volunteered to give women visiting the Tolly Centre in Rowan Avenue a treat.
The event was organised through the Opportunity Knocks programme at the centre along with Worcester YMCA.
Gerry Bassett, adult careers adviser at the centre, said: "It was great to see so many of the community join in a ladies' morning where nails and nail art was the topic of the conversation."
The event proved so popular that a make-over event and swap shop day are also being organised for the near future.
