WHEN Worcester man John Harber went to carry out work on his porch he got the shock of his life in the form of a gigantic wasp nest.
The monster discovery, at his home in Woodland Close, Perdiswell, was thankfully not full of angry insects, but has amazed the 48-year-old.
He said: "It's about two feet across and about one foot thick. It's ginormous.
"I've had many viewings. If I could have charged to see it I could have made a lot of money for charity."
Mr Harber is so fond of the discovery he cannot bear to destroy it, so has decided he wants to donate it to a school, which could perhaps use it in lessons.
He said: "It's a very pretty structure. It's one of those things I can't get rid of."
Anyone who is interested in taking the nest off Mr Harber's hands can call him on 01905 458671.
