Energetic youngsters have been shooting hoops and bouncing basketballs as part of a healthy living week.
Children at Hindlip CE First School, near Worcester, could not believe their luck when they spent a day with Clive Allen, assistant coach to stars of the Birmingham Panthers basketball team.
The school's physical education co-ordinator Lesley Thomas said: "They absolutely loved it. They were overwhelmed by his size - he's 6ft 8ins. He was really, really good with the children. It was fun, without being too serious."
The children were taught skills, drills and the importance of teamwork during the sponsored event, which raised money for Super Kids, a group that supports up-and-coming gymnasts. During the week, the children also tried yoga and sampled lots of healthy food.
