ASPIRING runners are being urged to support Worcester's St Richard's Hospice if they take part in any events this year.
To coincide with the launch of the Great Run races, the hospice, in Wildwood Drive, Spetchley, is asking runners to consider fundraising for the Worcestershire charity which supports people living with terminal illness.
Alison Weston, St Richard's community fundraiser, said: "What better way to fulfil your fitness resolutions than entering one of the Great Run Series of events in 2008?
"And if you are taking part, it's a wonderful way of fundraising for your local hospice at the same time."
Details of the major Great Runs are:
- Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday, May 4.
- Great North Run on Sunday, October 5.
- Great South Run on Sunday, October 28
