TWO defendants, who are alleged to have stolen items from Marks and Spencer (M&S), did not show up to court.
Ross Cowley and Viktorija Antonova both failed to show up at Worcester Magistrates Court for the hearing of their cases on Tuesday, (August 16).
Antonova had been told to attend at 11am.
Antonova, of Ombersley Street West, Droitwich, is accused of one charge of theft.
It is alleged the 33-year-old stole men's clothes valued at £212 from the M&S store between July 7 and July 13 this year.
It was expected to be the first hearing of the case, with Antonova potentially entering a plea to the charge.
While the court was dealing with non-attendants at the end of the day, Sumreen Asfar, prosecuting, said a letter had been sent to Antonova's home address on July 5 providing details of the court hearing.
The prosecutor applied for a warrant backed for bail, which was granted by the magistrates.

A warrant was also issued by magistrates for Ross Cowley, of Worcester.
Cowley is charged with two thefts from a shop.
It is alleged the 37-year-old stole steak from the High Street-based M&S store on July 26 and August 1 - £118 worth in the August offence.
Cowley had also been potentially set to give a plea to the charges during the hearing.
Sumreen Asfar, prosecuting, told magistrates had been charged at Worcester Police Station and bailed to attend court for 3pm.
The prosecutor's application for a warrant was granted by chairman of the bench, Kevin Lloyd-Wright.
The pair were among five defendants who did not appear at Worcester Magistrates Court for their cases on Wednesday.
Magistrates often express frustration at court time wasted when defendants don't turn up to court.
