A WOMAN has praised the community for trying to help find her beloved pet dog who went missing around one month ago.
Catriona Hudson's two Scottish Terriers went missing from her home in White Ladies Aston, near Worcester, around a month ago and while one has returned home, four-year-old Bowie still missing.
Mrs Hudson said: "I cannot praise our community enough.
"It's a sad story but how astonishing our community has been, it's been really humbling for me.
"People have been changing their dog walking routes, putting up posters, contacting me, it's absolutely amazing.
"Yesterday, a Scottie was handed in at Gloucestershire and sadly, it wasn't mine but the number of phone calls I had - it's amazing.
"Everyone's invested in getting him home.
"I've had the odd prank call from kids but 99.9% of people have just been beautiful and so supportive.
"Something like this really showcases communities at their best and I feel really supported by them.
"I've had some help from Lost Dogs UK as well.

"They provided us with a night motion camera and a member of the group in Inkberrow has been out with a drone looking.
"He must have given me 15 hours of his time already."
Mrs Hudson added that Bowie's coat was cut short just before he went missing, so he could be mistaken for a different breed of terrier as he does not look like a typical Scottish Terrier at the moment.
She is currently running a Facebook page called Bring Our Boy Home to raise awareness that her pup is missing.
She added: "The dogs got out of our garden on Thursday, July 14 at about 8pm.
"We don't know how they got out, maybe a delivery driver left the door open? We're not sure.
"My husband and I were away but our kids started frantically searching, people were looking.

"We got back on the following Monday and that's when the campaign really started - posters, flyers, social media posts, whatever we could.
"We are assuming he has been stolen but we also recognise that the person who has him may have thought they honestly just bought a dog, so they won’t be in trouble.
"We just want him home, to educate people on the rules surrounding lost/found dogs and to thank our community for their amazing support and ask that people continue to do so."
