A BULL was rescued after becoming submerged in a muddy pool, with fire crews saving the stricken beast's life.
Fire crews from Bromyard, Pershore, Bromsgrove and Malvern rescued the bull after it became trapped, pulling it to safety yesterday.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s animal rescue teams from Bromyard and Pershore Fire Stations, plus crews from Bromsgrove and Malvern, were called at 2.28pm on Monday to Red Hill Road, Kings Norton.
A spokesperson said: "Strops were placed around the animal which was sedated by an attending vet. The animal, which is six years old, was rescued from water and mud into a safe position in a field. The incident was left with the owner and vet while the animal recovered from sedation."
Teams from Bromyard and Pershore along with crews from Bromsgrove and Malvern rescued a bull that had become submerged in a pool.
