WORCESTER Live's spring season kicks off with the return of renowned Hull Truck Theatre.
The company, which performed John Godber's Bouncers last time it came to Worcester, return on Tuesday, March 4, with Our House.
Playwright Godber will again be in the director's seat for what promises to be a hugely successful show. The play follows May, a grandmother who packs up her Northern council house and heads off for a life in the sun. While moving out is hard enough, moving on is harder. May is forced to look forward without her husband and, with Hull Truck's trademark humour and pathos, will look back at the past 45 years.
After Our House will be Mouthpiece Theatre Company with the show Red Wine and Canvas. The darkly comic play poses the question, What is art?' and features an international cast.
April kicks off with St John's Players performing comedy-thriller A Tomb with a View, followed by Great Witley Operatic Society staging a double bill of Trial By Jury and The Sorcerer, and the Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society's version of Titanic the Musical.
