A PETITION signed by more than 400 Droitwich people angry at the state of their pavements has been handed to County Hall highways chiefs.
Councillor Peter Pinfield, who represents the town at Worcestershire County Council, presented the petition to the council leadership prior to the full council meeting in Pershore yesterday.
As reported in your Worcester News, Walter Bennett, aged 74, of Woodmans Close has been leading the campaign for action to be taken to fix the numerous pot holes around the pavements of the Westlands estate.
Presenting the petition to the council, Coun Pinfield said: "Walter has collected more than 400 signatures asking this council to do something about the pot-holes on his estate and I am presenting it to you."
Cabinet member for the environment, Councillor Derek Prodger, will look into the matter.
