PERSHORE councillors have clubbed together to run a series of adverts promoting the town during High Street improvement works.
Wychavon District Councillors Gaynor Amphlett, John Grantham and Charles Tucker each receive £500 a year from the council to spend on their ward.
This year, they have decided to pool their money to run the adverts which will thank people for supporting their town during High Street roadworks and promote upcoming events.
Coun Tucker said: "Trade in Pershore is generally holding up well during the roadworks and we want to say thank you for all the support people are giving.
"Shopkeepers have been marvellous and fully deserve the support."
The first of the adverts will appear in your Worcester News on Monday, February 25, and other adverts will appear up to mid-April.
