A Worcester man has been given a suspended jail term for assaulting a police officer.
Brandon Jones assaulted the officer in Birmingham on January 26.
The 24-year-old admitted the offence when he appeared in front of Birmingham magistrates on Thursday, August 11.
Jones, of Tallow Hill, was given a 10-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months.

He was also told to pay compensation to his victim of £100, a further £128 to fund victim services and £135 in court costs.
He has until October 1 to pay the full amount of £363.
