INTERNATIONAL footballer Jude Bellingham is due to appear in court today over alleged driving offences in Worcestershire.
The 19-year-old Dortmund and England player is charged with driving while not in a position to control a car and failure to provide information relating to a driving offence.
The charges allege that Bellingham, whose address is listed in court papers as Bromsgrove, was driving a Mercedes A180 in Augustus Road, Birmingham while looking at his phone and using Whatsapp.
This offence is alleged to have happened on March 1 this year.
The second charge is that on April 1, having been required to provide information relating to a driving offence, he failed to do so.
Bellingham's case is listed at Birmingham Magistrates Court on the afternoon of August 10.
