A BIG BROTHER mega-fan is petitioning to be on the new series after ITV announced the re-launch.
Jake McKinley, aged 20, of Warndon, has loved the fly-on-the-wall show since the age of seven and has dreamed of being one of the contestants.
Now friends want to make that dream a reality and have gone so far as to set up a petition demanding he has a place in the infamous house.
Mr McKinley said he rewatches the old episodes most days and has even rewatched all the series multiple times.

He said: "I am the biggest fan. I have always loved it since I was a kid because my mum loved it.
"I watch the old episodes on YouTube most days and I have watched most of the series at least three times over.
"To be able to go on as a contestant would literally be my dream come true."
The influential reality television programme aired for 18 years in the UK until it was axed in 2018, which Jake said really upset him.
He said: "When it stopped I was so upset, I never got the chance to apply. I missed out on the opportunity so I was gutted.
"When I heard it was coming back, I thought now is just the perfect opportunity to go on."
Mr McKinley shared his favourite series, moment and contestant of all time.
He said: "My favourite series of all time is series seven, and my favourite moment is when Nikki Grahame is shouting 'who is she' in the diary room.
"My favourite contestant of all time though is Charley Uchea due to all the drama she caused in the house."

The petition was the idea of Jake's best friend, Mia Milner, who is one of many backing him to join the hit reality show.
Mr McKinley said he wanted to represent the city on the programme, and would really appreciate the support of Worcester residents
Jake said: "It was Mia's idea to start it and we already have 30 signatures.
"I would love for everyone in Worcester to back me and represent the city, so if anyone is able to sign the petition please do."
Big Brother will return to screens next year following a five-year hiatus.
It will return in 2023 on ITV2 and the new streaming platform ITVX, with its famous house featuring a contemporary new look.
