A MASSIVE fire has broken out on Tolladine Golf Course.
Firefighters and police are currently at the scene dealing with the blaze.
It is believed flames spread from a fire pit on the former golf course this evening (Monday).
More than 20 calls were made to 999 to report the fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue said it was called at just before 8pm.
"Fire control has received over 20 calls to the reports of a large grass fire on the top of Tolladine Road The Old Golf Course, Worcester."
Three fire engines from Worcester are tackling the fire.
PC Rowan Boyle said: "Large fire on the old Tolladine Gold Course this evening, approx 4,000m2.
"Suspected ignition from a fire pit which has spread.
"Did you see anything? Contact us quoting log 701 of 1st August."
