TEMPORARY traffic lights on a new Worcestershire roundabout project are set to be removed.
Worcestershire County Council's Highways and Travel team plan to remove the temporary lights on the A38 Upton roundabout at 4pm today (Friday).
After months of work, the new roundabout finally came into operation in June, allowing for a new route between Upton and Evesham, replacing the previous staggered crossroads.
The B4424 between Powick and callow End is still set to remain closed to works being carried out by Cadent Gas.

Upton Road will be closed for 40 days while Cadent carries out work between the junction of the B4424 (Upton Road), Jennet Tree Lane in Callow End and the A449 in Powick.
Residents who live on the route can still access their properties, as too can residents of Wheatfields Park.
For vehicles heading up from Upton, Hanley Swan and Welland, the official diversion route is via Barnard's Green, Malvern Link, and then on to Powick.
