A LARGE emergency services presence was seen on Worcester Bridge last night.
Eyewitnesses claimed to see police, ambulance and fire and rescue crews on Worcester Bridge.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told the Worcester News that crews were in attendance to support West Mercia Police.
A video taken in Diglis shows emergency services driving through the area, and a police helicopter was also filmed overhead in the area.
A spokesperson said: "We were in attendance to assist looking for someone who was believed to be in the water, which thankfully nobody was.
"We had two boats and a crew standing by from Worcester, Malvern and Hereford.
"We came away from the scene at 10.30pm last night."
We have contacted West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service for more information.
The Samaritans can be contacted 24 hours a day, free, on 116123.
