A STREET fight which erupted outside a city pub led to a string of arrests as officers rushed in to tackle the violent disorder.
Video footage of the incident, previously shared by the Worcester News, showed an arrest outside Foregate Street in Worcester shortly after 11pm on Friday.
Police now say that arrest was one of four linked to an outbreak of disorder which began outside the Royal Exchange in The Cornmarket in the city centre.
A man who tried to break up the violence was also assaulted, police have confirmed.
We have also now shared a second video which shows police officers struggling with a suspect on the busy Friday night as revellers looked on.

West Mercia Police has now issued a statement warning that their officers will take robust action against those who cause trouble on Friday and Saturday nights with extra patrols put on ready to respond.
Shouts from West Mercia Police of 'get down on the floor now!' could be heard as the man shouted 'that's illegal!' during chaotic scenes opposite the railway station.
At one stage four officers could be seen struggling with the same man.
Later, an officer could be seen telling a second male to 'get back' and 'stay away from him, officers are trying to arrest him'.
However, West Mercia Police has now confirmed that the arrest was linked to earlier disorder outside the Royal Exchange in The Cornmarket in Worcester.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Around 11pm on Friday (22 July) we were called following reports of a violent disorder outside The Royal Exchange, Corn Market, Worcester.
"The incident involved four men aged between 23 and 34 years old.
"A 36-year-old man was also punched to the face while trying to break up the disorder. The man suffered minor injuries.
"Four men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, with one also arrested on suspicion of assault. All four were later released on bail pending further investigations."
Chief Inspector David Troth said: “Many people come in to Worcester city centre on weekends for a great night out, it’s a shame when this is ruined by the behaviour of small minority of people.
“We have additional officers on patrol in the city on Friday and Saturday evenings, and we take robust action against anyone intent on causing trouble.”
