ANYONE aware of any blocked drains or gullies in Droitwich has been urged to report them to two county councillors.
Worcestershire county councillors Peter Pinfield and Edgar Harwood, who represent the town, want to find out where problems are so they can tell the council's Environmental Services.
The call for residents to report issues came after the council's community and response manager, Jon Fraser, wrote to councillors asking them to provide locations for flooding or drainage improvements within four weeks.
Coun Pinfield said: "I certainly know of several drains that are constantly blocked and when it does rain heavily it adds to our flooding problem, but I do not know every one.
"I am asking the good people of Droitwich to let Edgar and myself know where the problems are and at least we will have a list from which we can plan out a clear out operation."
The council already knows about problems in Old Chawson Lane, Westwood Road, Celvestune Way, and Dilmore Avenue - all in Droitwich.
Also on the list is the A442 at Cutnall Green, Broadhouse Farm, Broad Alley, Cutnall Green and Ford Lane at Elmbridge.
However, Coun Pinfield warned that not all problems would be immediately solved and said: "I think what Mr Fraser is asking councillors to do is identify the main ones that cause a lot of difficulties.
"If we end up with 20 identified spots and we can do 10 first then that's the start."
Coun Pinfield said North Street, off Ombersley Road, was one area he knew about that caused ongoing problems to residents, businesses and the general public.
Issues of drainage have been high on the agenda since last summer when some areas were hit by severe flash flooding - rather than river flooding.
