FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to tackle a fire caused by a fat fryer at a pub near Worcester.
Four fire engines from Worcester and Droitwich were called to the White Hart pub, Fernhill Heath, about midday.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Alec Mackie said: "There was a fire in the kitchens involving a fat fryer which I imagine caused a bit of black smoke."
Mr Mackie said some firefighters are still at the pub on the Droitwich Road but added nobody was injured in the incident.
