An injured man had be to rescued after becoming stranded on a 20ft embankment in Herefordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Symonds Yat, near Ross-on-Wye, at 1.25pm yesterday.
A paramedic in a 4x4 and an ambulance crew attended, together with a crew from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
An ambulance spokesman said: "Crews were called to a location near the Ferry Inn in Symonds Yat.
"The caller reported a man on an embankment, shouting for help.
"On arrival, crews found a man who had suffered a leg injury. He was treated at the scene and taken to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
