OVER 50s in Worcester are now able to keep fit and improve their quality of life by attending a new fitness class.
If you feel uncomfortable joining a gym this free class, called Extend, could be just for you. The sessions take place every Monday at the City Centre Community Centre, in Midland Road, between 2pm and 3.30pm.
Mal Parry, community worker at Worcester City Council, said: "We can offer a fun way to get fit and healthy and stay active and would like to encourage both men and women to come along and join in.
"Increasing our fitness levels, having fun and socialising is a proven way of tackling health problems and boosting self esteem. We can guarantee no mirrors, no lycra and no loud music."
