A WORCESTER man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing acid batteries from a Malvern waste disposal site overnight.
The 21-year-old man was arrested today at his home in Tolladine and was taken into custody while further enquiries take place.
The arrest is the latest for Project Livewire, West Mercia Constabulary's initiative to tackle metal theft.
More than 60 arrests have been made in the last six months of the operation.
