YOUR Worcester News is here to help those wishing to make a career change or get some expert job advice.

For the fifth year in succession the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair will be held at the Guildhall in Worcester.

The event on Thursday, March 6, will be a chance for people to get more information about jobs and educational opportunities.

This year the fair will welcome many new stalls, as well as the regulars, to help people looking for a fresh start.

Sara Matthews, Worcester News events manager, said: "We have had a lot of interest from different people this time. We had some great feedback from visitors last time and we want to make sure we cater for their needs."

There will be advice from recruitment agencies, colleges, universities and businesses who are big employers in Worcester.

There will also be different work sectors represented at the fair, including organisations that work with children, young people, families and people with special needs. Also represented will be teaching, accountancy and further and higher education. And there will be tips on how to prepare your CV.

"We are trying to make the fair a more rounded event and provide the variety of businesses and employment opportunities that people of all ages are looking for," said Mrs Matthews.

For the first time, there will also be a Worcester News stall so people can find out more about jobs with your local newspaper.

The fair is open from 10am until 4.30pm and admission is free.
