A CHARITY golf day is being organised to help raise funds for a Pershore school.
The event will take place at Ross-on-Wye Golf Club on Thursday, February 28, from 10am.
It has been organised by Abbey Park Middle School's vice chairman Ashley Brassington to raise funds for school and has been sponsored by Barclays Bank.
There will be 10 teams each of four players, who will all play 18 holes of competition golf followed by a two-course dinner and presentation of prizes.
The school's headteacher Lynn Evans will be attending the prize-giving ceremony.
The competition is open to anyone, but they may be asked to produce a handicap certificate. The maximum handicap is 24. Entry to the event is £170 per team of four players. If anyone wishes to join the event, they should call 01386 552667 and ask for Sam Faulkner.
