Gwen Jones and Von Stewart took a second look back at those the society has engaged over the last 40 years in Ruby Retrospective II.
They ranged from the Pendyrrhus Male Choir to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, with contributions from cellist Oliver Gledhill, Wyre Forest singer Jonathan Darby and pianists Christopher Langdown, Duncan Honeybourne, Mark Bebbington (returning to play for the society in November), Lauretta Bloomer and Allan Schiller, the latter appearing at Kidderminster Library on March 14.
There was music by Aaron Copland, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Haydn, Albeniz, Elgar and Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
On February 15, Gwen Jones will present a programme of recorded music, each piece being an Opus 40, once more reflecting the ruby anniversary of the society. This will be at Holy Innocents community hall, Kidderminster, starting at 7.30pm.
