YOUNGSTERS spent the day experiencing the mediaeval era at Worcester's Commandery.
Nine children started the day with a mediaeval letterbox game, running around the garden of the museum in Sidbury, Worcester, matching the name of a saint with a hidden box.
Staff had been busy hiding seven boxes around the garden, and each box had the name and picture of a saint on it.
Children were given names of saints and had to post the right name through the right box.
The youngsters, aged between seven and 11, also enjoyed craft activities, including making a plague mask, and played games which taught them about mediaeval medicine, and a game of skills.
Carol Campbell, senior museum assistant, said: "It went very well yesterday, I think they enjoyed it.
"They all seemed happy and they did some really nice work."
