A MAN was seriously injured after a car left the road in Worcestershire.
The incident happened on the A451 outside The Dog public house in Dunley, near Stourport, just before 3.45pm yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance service received a 999 emergency call and an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an Incident support officer and the County Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said "On arrival at the scene, crews found a car that is believed to have left the road, travelled up a grass embankment and rolled over and landed back on the road on its roof.
"The man driving the car, believed to be in his early 20's was treated at the scene for head and arm injuries. The man was immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar and was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
