SAINSBURY'S has unveiled its new website aimed specifically at its St John's development in Worcester.
The site contains detailed information about the project, including an interactive site plan, information about community benefits, store details, new jobs opportunities and, coming soon, a live webcam.
The company hopes the Sainsbury's St John's website will result in floods of residents logging on to view the community development and to take a first look at the progressing site.
The St John's web camera will overlook the development, allowing interested locals to view the ongoing works from the safety of their own homes.
Mark Ireland, property project manager at Sainsbury's, said: "The website is a great way for residents and other interested parties to stay updated about the development and to watch the progress for themselves. The cameras will provide a unique perspective of the site including previously unseen works such as some of the larger steelworks and building materials being put into place."
Residents can get regular updates and take a look at how work is progressing by visiting www.sainsburys-stjohns.co.uk
The development in St. John's includes a new Sainsbury's foodstore, sports centre, youth centre, and improvements to the Christopher Whitehead Language College and is expected to be completed by summer 2009.
