Across the county these include award-winning loos and even one claimed to be among the worst in the country, although we’re not sure we agree.

There are also a number of supermarkets, restaurants and pubs that will allow you to use their facilities without the need to buy anything. Look for the ‘Use Our Loo’ sticker in shop windows or check out the Great British Public Toilet Map.
