MUCH loved actress Felicity Kendal is in Worcestershire next week.
The screen icon is playing a glamorous socialite with a taste for younger men in Noel Coward's The Vortex.
Kendal is best known for her role as Barbara Good, opposite the equally treasured Richard Briers, in the television series The Good Life. When the show ended in 1978, her stage career blossomed and she went on to star in a number of Tom Stoppard plays.
She recently starred in the ITV murder mystery series Rosemary & Thyme, in which she played a landscape gardner who solved crimes together with friend and co-worker played by Pam Ferris. Later this year she will appear in an episode of Doctor Who alongside David Tennant.
The Vortex runs at the Malvern Theatre from Monday, February 11 to Saturday, February 16. For tickets, priced £20 to £27, call the box office on 01684 892277 or visit www.malvern-theatre.co.uk.
