A MUSIC download service based in Worcester is providing people with live EPs for free.
Cut Out Sound is a download-only record label that is aiming, according to Worcestershire music website Not Just Sauce, to bring back the DIY ethic of the punk era.
From the site - www.cutoutsound.com - technology-loving music enthusiasts can download EPs by unsigned bands and solo artists which have been recorded live at gigs here in Worcester.
There will be one new release each month. The first, released at the beginning of December, was by city-based alternative rock group Gamble Gamble.
As well as high-quality mp3s, the site offers exclusive sleeve designs which can be printed on card, cut out and kept.
Last weekend, Cut Out Sound recorded Meteor Street's gig at Worcester's Marr's Bar and the result is another three-track EP which should be available to download this weekend.
