With the summer sun still shining in Worcester, you might be wondering how to keep the kids entertained, especially as the summer holidays begin.
Worcester’s Gheluvelt Park has a Splashpad and if your kids love to play in the water, this is a fun activity to do this summer.

Worcester
The Splashpad at Gheluvelt Park in Worcester is open this summer but Worcester City Council’s website explains that opening times could change.
Opening times:
- Until July 21 – 11am-4pm
- July 22 to September 4 – 11am-6pm
- September 5 to September 30 – 11am-4pm
It’s important to note that the Splashpad is closed from October through to March.

Droitwich
In Droitwich, you’ll find a lido which has facilities including a wet play area for kids to enjoy.
The Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre & The Lido Facebook page lists the lido opening times:
- Monday, Thursday and Friday – 6.30am to 10.30pm
- Tuesday and Wednesday – 6.30am to 10pm
- Saturday and Sunday – 8am to 8pm

Evesham
The Wychavon District Council website says the wet play area at Abbey Park in Evesham is open 10am-6pm every day of the week so there’s plenty of time for your kids to enjoy cooling off in the water.
