FAMILIES are being invited to take part in a music workshop in Worcester during the half term holiday.
The workshop will take place at The Elgar Birthplace Museum in Lower Broadheath on Wednesday from 11am until noon.
The workshop is aimed at primary school-aged children and will include a range of activities suitable for all abilities. There will be rhythm, melody and movement, and a chance to have a go at composing.
No specialist musical knowledge is required, but adults must accompany those taking part.
Elgar himself began composing from a young age, and tickets for this workshop include the opportunity to see the displays at Broadheath and discover more about Elgar as a young composer.
Catherine Sloan, museum director, said: "Following the success of last year's half term music workshop we are pleased to be able to offer this exciting event once again. Places will be limited so I would urge people to book as soon as possible."
Tickets are £5 for children, and adults go free. To book, or for more information call the museum on 01905 333224.
