IT'S almost like being on the 'White Isle' as temperatures in Worcester will match those in Ibiza today (Monday, July 11).
The UK’s heatwave shows no sign of stopping this week and temperatures are set to hit 30C in the city this afternoon.
That’s the same as locals and holidaymakers on the Mediterranean island can expect today.
According to the Met Office, temperatures in Worcester will only drop a little this week - to about 23C on Tuesday and Wednesday - before climbing back up to the 30s next weekend.
Sunday could reach 34C with next Monday predicted to hit 33C.

The Met Office has issued a heat health alert for this week, highlighting the potential health impacts of continued high temperatures.
Dr Agostinho Sousa, head of extreme events and health protection at UKHSA, said: “We want everyone to enjoy the hot weather when it arrives, but also to check in on their vulnerable family, friends and neighbours to make sure they are prepared for the warm conditions ahead.
“High temperatures are predicted for a prolonged period, so make sure to follow our simple health advice to beat the heat, such as covering windows exposed to direct sunlight and making sure that fridges, freezers and fans are working properly.”
