A LOCAL charity has shared three dogs who are desperately looking for a new home this month.
The Dogs Trust centre in Evesham serves as a temporary home for dogs who are looking for new owners.
The adorable pooches at Dogs Trust Evesham have their paws crossed that they will find a brand-new loving home soon.
Lexi - Crossbreed - Aged 5-7 - Female
Lexi is ideally looking for a family that will help her to continue with socialisation around dogs and to build up her confidence.
She is looking for a quiet, adult-only home environment with a secure garden. Lexi would need her new home to be located in a more rural area that's not got lots of traffic and dogs passing her by.
Lexi never minds hopping into the car and has remained housetrained during her stay at the centre.
Baxter - Lurcher - 2-5 years - Male
Baxter has been described as a charming and cheeky dog, who would be ideal for active adopters.
He enjoys heading out on walks and has a playful side, particularly enjoying a game of fetch. He would benefit from a rural, adult-only home, where he can have access to his own secure garden.
Baxter would need a patient family that will help to build up his confidence.
Sadie - Rottweiler- Aged 8+ - Female
Sadie has been described as sweet and friendly and is looking for an understanding family that will be patient and help her settle.
She is searching for an adult-only home where she can be the only pet, with a secure garden and a quiet area without other dogs.
Sadie happily welcomes visitors but prefers a more hands-off approach until she feels more confident and has built up a bond.
She is also happy to jump into the car so is perfect for a family that would like to take trips to quieter walking spots for some adventures.
Chris Slight, manager at Dogs Trust Evesham, said: “As we reach the half-way point of 2022, we look back on a brilliant 270 dogs that have headed off to their forever homes so far.
“A huge thank you to the public that shows our centre continued support and open their hearts to rehoming a rescue dog”
