A MAN was taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to a home in a city estate.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to a "medical emergency" in Connaught Close, St Peter's, this morning (Monday).
A man was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical emergency at a private address on Connaught Close at 7.13am.
"Two ambulances and a BASICS doctor attended the scene. We treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
Despite the air ambulance being deployed, it was no longer needed which is why it was seen circling over Battenhall and St Peter's.
