A GUNMAN who opened fire from a car targeted at least seven victims in and around Worcester, including an antique shop and a car dealership.
Police have now revealed the order in which attacks took place across the city on Monday, providing a clearer picture of what happened.
Cars and businesses were attacked on the A449, M5, Deansway and Sansome Street. As previously reported, there was a toddler in one car when one of the 'bullets' or 'pellets' punched a hole in the back window.

One attack, involving a suspected pellet gun, occurred at Bygones of Worcester in Deansway, close to the Cathedral, and the other at the Listers Seat car dealership in Ombersley Road.
Staff at Bygones were unavailable for comment while the Seat dealership declined to comment. We have previously reported how a ball bearing was recovered from inside the shop in Deansway.
Detective Sergeant Luke Papps said: “Thankfully, no-one was injured during these incidents but I understand the concern caused to the local community and want to reassure local residents that we are working to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”
DS Papps is appealing for information from the public, including dash cam and CCTV footage.
Some drivers reported 'bullet holes' in the back windows of their cars.
Police revealed a timeline:
- West Mercia received the first phone call from the A449 in Main Road, Ombersely at 4.30pm
- Another report comes in from Bygones of Worcester in Deansway, Worcester
- The next target was the Seat Dealership in Ombersley Road, Worcester
- The gunman shot at cars on the M5 between junction 7 (Worcester South) and junction 6 (Worcester)
- Another car is shot at between junction 5 (Droitwich) and 4A on the slip road at Upton Warren
- A report comes in from Sansome Street in Worcester
- Police receive yet another call from the A449 at Ombersley towards Claines at 5.11pm
The incidents are being linked and it is thought those responsible for the damage were in a white BMW 3 series.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to locate the vehicle. The Worcester News understands no arrests have been made.
