THIS Sunday brides and grooms will have the chance to track down some great ideas for their weddings.

For the sixth year in a row, your Worcester News has organised the popular Wedding Fayre at the Fownes Hotel in Worcester.

It is set to be packed with exhibitors from all over the county.

From wedding dresses, tiaras, floral ideas to chocolate fountains, photographers and marquee hire, your whole wedding could be arranged all under one roof.

Sara Matthews, Events Manager for the Worcester News said it would be as exciting as ever.

"We are really looking forward to seeing all the brides and grooms with us on Sunday and we expect it will be a very busy day. Being so early on in the year it gives visitors the chance to see the new spring dress fashions along with being able to book things early," she said.

Berketex Bride, the new bridal shop in Worcester, will be exhibiting for the first time at the fair. The chain has moved into the former Pronuptia store in College Street and is looking forward to exhibiting at the event.

Brides will be able to browse through the company's collection of gowns and bridesmaid dresses, while grooms can check out the formal wear.

A spokeswoman for Berketex Brides said: "We especially look forward to welcoming our new brides to our store on College Street and bringing our many years of collective experience in the bridal arena to Worcester."

Mrs Matthews added: "It really is a wonderful day and it is always lovely getting to see the new exhibitors and also our regular favourites. Being able to meet so many happy couples always makes the occasion very special."

This year's event on City Walls Road, starts at 11am and finishes at 3.30pm. Entrance to the event and parking is free.

Visitors are advised to take cash and cheque books because credit card facilities will not be available on the day.
