A WORCESTER beauty salon has scooped another top award.
Beautique in Friar Street was presented with 2008 Crown Salon status at the annual Guinot Crown Salon Awards in London.
It was the ninth time the salon has been presented with the trophy.
Anita Wilson, the owner of Beautique, said: "I'm delighted to win the Guinot Crown Salon Award for the ninth year in succession.
"It's a testament to my professional and dedicated staff. I could not have achieved this without my team, so it's a huge thank you to them.
"Beautique is about to celebrate 25 years in business in May, which I am very proud of and I would like to thank all of my clients for their support throughout this quarter of a century."
Hosted by R Robson, the sole distributor for Guinot in the UK and Ireland, the annual awards event is held to recognise outstanding contributions to the field of professional skincare. More than 250 guests were at the celebrations where the trophies were presented by Guinot's managing director Bertrand Fontaine and Tony Robson, the chairman of R Robson.
Only 51 of Guinot's 1,600 salons in the UK and Ireland met the stringent criteria to qualify for Crown Salon status. To be a considered for a Crown, the salons have to consistently maintain an outstanding level of Guinot skincare treatments, customer care and professionalism.
Beautique has a team of qualified beauty therapists who carry out a full range of Guinot face and body treatments, including the signature hydradermie, a complete facial treatment using galvanic and high frequency currents. The salon also sells the complete range of Guinot face and bodycare anti-ageing treatments and products.
