POLICE were called to an incident at New Road on Thursday evening after a T20 Vitality Blast match between Worcestershire Rapids and the Yorkshire Vikings.
The Worcester News understand a group of spectators, all from the same local club, were causing a scene in the stadium after being asked to leave due to 'poor behaviour'.
A statement from the club read: "Due to poor behaviour, a group of spectators were asked to leave New Road by our security team during the second innings of last night's Vitality Blast fixture.
"Following their failure to do so, and further bad behaviour towards other spectators and staff, the police were called to assist with their removal from the ground.
"There is absolutely no place for bad behaviour at New Road. Aside from any action the authorities may take, we will also ban any spectator who engages in bad behaviour in the ground.

"It will not be tolerated."
Onlookers described the incident as a 'fight' with another saying the announcer asked people to leave via a specific exit while police dealt with the incident.
West Mercia Police confirmed they had been called to the incident.
"Officers responded to a call from Worcestershire County Cricket Club to assist with reports of anti-social behaviour at New Road, Worcester at 8pm yesterday (Thursday 23 June).
"Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with a group of spectators who were asked to leave the area which they did.
"No one was arrested and we have no reports of any injuries."
This is not the first time this season there have been crowd trouble issues, as the home match between Worcestershire Rapids and Birmingham Bears also saw some problems in the stands.
The two sides go head-to-head again on Friday evening, this time at Edgbaston.
