A MAN was airlifted to hospital after he suffered 'serious injuries' in a car fire this morning.
A man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital after paramedics were called to Martley, near Worcester at 10.48am.
Fire crews from Worcester were also sent to the scene to put out the flames.

A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by the fire service at 10.48am to an area of Martley, Worcester following reports of a car fire.

"A paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene. Crews assessed and provided trauma care to a man who had sustained serious injuries. He was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further specialist care."
