A MASSIVE fire broke out at a popular pub with customers fleeing as smoke poured from the roof.
Firefighters from across the county arrived at Bluebell Inn in Malvern just before 6.30pm to fight the blaze.
Staff and customers were evacuated from the building and no casualties have been reported.
Pub owners Andy Spencer and Tony Aspley were waiting outside the pub with customers while the fire crew worked on putting out the fire.
Police closed off Guarlford Road while the fire crews were tackling the blaze.
A crowd of onlookers watched as crews used tried to bring the fire under control.
The Bluebell Inn released a statement that said: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Bluebell will be closed until further notice."
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire service is busy dealing with the incident and request the public avoid the area."
Terry Worrall said: "This is our local pub, we found out it was on fire online and came down to see."
Threcia Worrall said: My friend told me that the Bluebell Inn was on fire and we came to have a look around to see what the damage was."
