It's going to be hot, very hot and we know you'll all be looking for ways to cool down. ☀️
Open water might look more appealing than ever today, but PLEASE stay out - it is dangerous and claims lives every year. ❌ pic.twitter.com/GiH7bCY41K
Gullet Quarry near Malvern has claimed lives in the past and West Mercia Police patrols continue in that area to keep the community safe.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We cannot emphasise this enough. It's going to be hot, very hot and we know you'll all be looking for ways to cool down. Open water might look more appealing than ever today, but PLEASE stay out - it is dangerous and claims lives every year."
In 2013 Gullet Quarry claimed the lives of Justas Juzenas, aged 22, of Ross-on-Wye and Russell O’Neill, aged 17, of Worcester who both drowned there in July of that year.
