A man has been sentenced to over four years in prison after being found with a kilo of cocaine in his car.
Tor Ymeri, 40, was stopped on Evesham Road, Worcestershire, and officers found a kilo of cocaine in Ymeri's car.
Ymeri, from London, was found guilty of possession with intent to supply and will serve more than 4 years in prison at Worcester Crown Court on Monday (June 13).
Detective Constable Naomi Smith from the Regional Organised Crime Unit said: “Bringing drugs into our counties will receive a zero-tolerance response.
"These organised gangs are profiting from the misery of others and the harm and serious consequences their actions cause our communities will not be tolerated.
"The seriousness of his crime is reflected in the sentence handed down to Ymeri and it doesn’t matter what role you play in trafficking and selling drugs, if you bring them into West Mercia we will do everything in our power to stop you and bring you to justice.”
