A CHILDREN'S poet has visited a Worcester primary school to give children a special creative workshop.
Staff and pupils at the Gorse Hill Community Primary School on Hollymount Road, Tolladine, were treated to an exciting poetry and musical performance by Brian Moses.
Mr Moses has had more than 160 books published and his latest is called Taking out the Tigers.
Children from Year Five and Six classes took part in the event which was timed to coincide with the whole school reading and writing poems - and on Friday they will be entering the Gorse Hill's Got Talent poetry competition. Andrea Donnelly, literacy co-ordinator at the school said: "It went really well, particularly the performance part of it as Mr Moses had some musical instruments and the children loved that they could join in.
"Gorse Hill is very grateful for the financial help that the Worcester Rotary Club has given to help support this wonderful event."
