A CARAVAN and an old car have been damaged, prompting a police investigation.

The caravan and car were damaged between May 26 and May 30, in North Piddle, where a panelled fence was ripped through in order to obtain access.

Once inside the caravan, the offenders smashed the windows and then slashed the tyres of the old car.

Police are now investigating criminal damage and are appealing to local residents for information.
