Latest updates: Police name man who died after being found in Worcester Woods
Police are not treating the death of a man found at Worcester Woods Country Park as suspicious.
A man was found in the park at about 8am today (Wednesday, June 8) after police were called to reports of a man in the water.
Officers said they attended alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service and that a man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In an update, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We can confirm the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”

A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a patient in the water at Worcester Woods Country Park at 7.50am.
"Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one male patient who was in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support which continued enroute to Worcester Royal Hospital.
"However, shortly after arrival at hospital it sadly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased."
